Every year, I put together a list of my favorite CD's.

It's something

[info]def_fr0g_42got me started doing.

In 2004 and 2005, I made a compilation of songs picked from those CD's and sent it to him.  In 2006, I doubled my audience, and made a copy for my friend NL.

Last year, I posted it to my website.

Well, yes, it is nearly the middle of 2008, but I have put together the next compilation.

I really didn't know what I was doing last year, but I think everything should sound good this year.

So, without further ado, I present to you Even Better Than A Spice Girls Reunion: Al Bedsitter's Definitive List Of The Best Songs Off The Best Albums of 2007.

You may say "How is that possible to make a list like this.  You surely didn't hear every release that came out in 2007."  To which I say "Pah!".  if magazines like Q and Uncut can do this, so can I.

Disclaimer to the R-I-A-A, Record companies, lawyers, and bands:  First of all, thanks for visiting my website.  I can't believe you found me.  I want all the readers I can get.  Say the word, and I'll remove the links.  Of course, my idea is that people will hear a song by the artist, and *gasp* might actually end up buying their CD, buying a t-shirt, or going to see the band live.  So, this might actually make you a profit.  Otherwise, if the listener thinks a song is crap, he's not going to buy the albu manyway.

Disclaimer to the downloader:  There's 80 minutes of music here.  They're big files.  Sorry about that.  I tried to compress them by putting them in a .rar format.  You will need some kind of program that will help you extract them (Don't worry.  It shouldn't be hard).  If you'd rather, I can also post the songs as .zip files.  Just let me know.

Here's yer tracklist

1. Patrick Wolf - "Overture"
2. The Arcade Fire - "Windowsill"
3. The Stooges - "My Idea Of Fun"

I like Steve Earle's Oxycontin Blues. But everytime I hear it, I think of how much better Copperhead Road was.

:/

I am not quite to that point. I really like the song. However, there's no doubt it seems like a 'sequel'.
